Lexington Real Foods Community Coop
Buffalo & Western NY, New York

Your local place for wholesome ingredients
Grocery/Bakery/Deli
The coop has been a community staple in the Buffalo area since 1971. You can find your fresh produce and organic groceries here. They also have a small fresh baked goods section where you can find vegan rice krispies and a fresh deli section for a quick bite. They currently have over 3000 member-owners including me. But you don't have to be a member to shop there. Come for the quality food you can't find other places. If its not there they'll order it for you.
Mission Statement of Lexington (from website)
We are a membership-based organization, open to the entire community. We commit ourselves to serving both members and non-members by: providing a natural foods grocery store in a friendly environment, providing education about nutrition, consumer issues and co-operative principles, nurturing the local economy and the environment.

Bit pricy, but they do have good deals sometimes. Be sure things from the deli say Vegan (if your vegan that is) prior to buying them (word of advise from a staff member when I was shopping in there last). Not too shabby.
