The Balanced Kitchen is a completely vegan, organic, gluten-free restaurant on the far north side of Chicago. They operate in a LEED-silver certified building. They offer a menu that changes daily featuring fresh seasonal foods.
The restaurant is open for lunch and diner on Tuesday through Friday 11 to 7, Saturday 11 to 9, and by reservation only for Sunday brunch.
The brunch is a set six course meal.

In Feb 08, I went to one of the Saturday brunches. The brunch was a six-course meal with a max of 12 participants, who all sit family style at the table. Everything is gluten free and vegan.
Overally, I was impressed by the quality and creativity of the food, especially since they change the menu every day. Everything was very delicious, and the chef was available to answer questions afterward.
