Bio

I was born and raised in Illinois though I now call Minnesota my home. I've been vegan since 2004 and I've lived and traveled all over the world, from Alaska to Brazil to India and Cambodia.

I have no set scoring system for rating restaurants, though unique or unusual dishes/ingredients will draw my attention, and edgy or creative foods will win my admiration. If you've got that undefinable "x" factor, you'll get 5 stars from me; that said, very few places have received 5 stars in my book.
